COVID-19

The entire world is fighting an unknown unseen pandemic for more than 3 months. It knows no rich and poor. Sanitation and health workers serves as a vanguard in the battlefield. Nearly 2.5 lakh people lost their lives to the pandemic. World's powerful economies got stranded.

India too was not left out. Gradually the numbers begun to mount. Starting from March 21st lockdown was extended thrice. Both Central and State governments were applauded for their effective measures for tackling the virus. But of lately the concessions given by the government questions the concept of social distancing. Opening of liquor shops, certain others makes us to think, is that really necessary?

It made to think that, so far we had a safe passage through the strom, but at last, we are losing track. Of course, economy is very important. And opening up shops to public and bringing them out is like stepping into lion's

Opening up of toll plazas and sudden increase in toll charges while only essential transportations were allowed. And most recently the VAT tax on petrol and diesel. These may add burden at people's back at this critical time.

Of course, it should be appreciated that only because of all the precautions measures by all the regional governments, today we are here with least cases comparing other countries. It is difficult to reach out to a huge population and make them to confine at homes. But we did that successfully. But what now? These concessions should be reconsidered.......

At this most crucial time all we have is hope. And do all the good you can. There are thousands starving while we have bread and jam for breakfast. Lets be human and act human.

We don't know what is suffering until we suffer. Lets fight this pandemic together....
