  The entire world is fighting an unknown unseen pandemic for more than 3 months. It knows no rich and poor. Sanitation and health workers serves as a vanguard in the battlefield. Nearly 2.5 lakh people lost their lives to the pandemic. World's powerful economies got stranded.      India too was not left out. Gradually the numbers begun to mount. Starting from March 21st lockdown was extended thrice. Both Central and State governments were applauded for their effective measures for tackling the virus. But of lately the concessions given by the government questions the concept of social distancing. Opening of liquor shops, certain others makes us to think, is that really necessary? The entire stretch of the road is estimated to be 273.3 Kms. On an average the project needs 2,343 hectares of lands in five districts. It covers the reserve forest areas and agricultural feilds. Cash for votes, Lingayat move and under estimation played their own roles. Congress, BJP and JD(S) competed for victory. In fact it is predicted that, if World War III materializes, it will be mainly for water. The historical verdict of Supreme Court which came on 16th Feb 2018 did not ceasefire the ongoing water war. Instead it gave stimulus to widespread protests across the two states. The court also gave a deadline for Central Government to implement the verdict. Now all of us speaking about Sterlite and its ban. But it is a problem of a life time. The first opposition came when the factory was first established. It was a part of 'Vedhandha Groups' .
